   Since 2019, the Charity Humanitarian Foundation SOCO Rehabilitation House has served children with disabilities and special educational needs from 6 to 18 years old.  By 2022, the number of beneficiaries of the day center has increased to 10.

The center is located in Zugdidi, Aghmashenebeli Str. N 198.   

The service of the Center includes:

  • Moving by adapted transport
  •  Meals
  • Services of Special Teachers, Supervisor, Behavioral Therapist, Nurse and Other Competent Assistants
  • Customized and pleasant environment

The center is equipped with modern and child-friendly concrete inventory. A touchscreen room and touchpad path have already been arranged in the center, with which the children of the center actively enjoy it. A well-maintained yard allows children to spend the day actively, productively, interestingly and, most importantly, safely.

                  

 The pets and birds of the center additionally create a friendly environment. The rehabilitation house is focused on developing children's social, physical and cognitive skills and integrating them into society.

From now the children who are diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and their parents who have trouble getting to and from the city are provided with everything they need. This is the category that is undergoing treatment at the Neurodevelopmental Center on Gorki Street in Zugdidi. During the medical rehabilitation course, 4 beneficiaries and their parents will receive free three-day meals and transportation services. The multifunctional center is expected to bring doctors from abroad in the future, as well as opening a day center where children will learn different skills. The opening of the rehabilitation center was attended by foreign guests along with locals

The scholarships in Middelburg, Netherlands

SOCO  Foundation grants 2 scholarships for 2018-2021 (The University College Roosevelt in Middelburg (www.ucr.nl) )   for Georgian students     

The scholarship comprises full tuition fee, visa expenses, insurance and books
